The printing method
Direct-to-Film printing (DTF) — what it means for your order
Your artwork is printed in full colour onto film, backed with white ink, then bonded into the fabric with heat and pressure.
Full colour, no limits
Gradients, photographs and fine text print exactly as designed. The number of colours never changes the price.
Bright on dark fabrics
A white ink underbase sits behind the colour layer, so artwork stays clear and bright on black garments as well as white.
Fine detail holds
Small text, thin lines and illustrated detail survive the transfer instead of filling in.
Bonded into the fabric
Controlled heat and pressure bond the complete print to the garment rather than leaving it sitting on top.
That is why your album cover prints with the same detail on a black hoodie as on a white tee.

Questions we get asked
Can we order just 20 shirts for one show?
Yes. There is no minimum. Twenty pieces is a standard order and still qualifies for the 12-piece discount tier.
Will detailed album art print properly?
DTF handles photography and gradients well. Send print-ready artwork and we will confirm the file before production.
Do multiple colours cost extra?
No. Colour count does not affect the price, unlike screen printing.
Can we print different designs in one order?
Yes, though separate designs may require their own artwork setup. List every design in your request.
What if our tour date is close?
Standard production is 7 to 10 business days plus shipping. Rush production may be available when confirmed in advance.
